Imphal, May 02 2024: Wanderers, Iconic Five, Football Lovers, Lambung YCC and Youngsters FC got the better of their respective opponents in the 1st Thoruwl Trophy 5-a-side Tournament 2024 on Thursday at Thoruwl Turf in Chandel.

Wanderers handed out a 20-5 thrashing to Brothers as Winkle led the rout, scoring 13 goals.

Keneday and Armstrong scored a double each while RL Shetngam, Darthang and Marconi each contributing one goal in their emphatic win.

Iconic Five unleashed a crushing 24-3 defeat on Anal Engineers FC.

Bedeenpaar alone scooped 21 goals for the Iconic squad, with Rungden scoring two and Ringshgnam netting one.

Football Lovers brushed aside Additional FC 14-5 with three goals each from Lian, Alex, Strongam and Lael, and two goals from Thalpingam.

Lambung YCC recorded a dominant 12-7 win over SBI Chandel as KL Mojanghring collected five goals, LH Phowlpe netted twice, and both SNG Kot and LH Shelpa contributed one goal in their victory.

Omega and Yaomaya scored a double each to help Youngsters FC carve out a 7-5 win over Surchand FC.

Kankhungam, Aprilngam and Khallen-thang also got their names on the scoreboard in Youngsters' triumph.

Earlier on Wednesday, Brotherhood FC, KAFC, Peaky Brothers and Khongjon YC registered victories.
