State archery: Yohenba strikes gold twice as SAIRC continue dominance

Imphal, October 17 2024: SAIRC continued their dominance by winning four gold medals on the sixth day of the State Archery Championships 2024 at RCC Ground, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

SAIRC excelled individual competitions, capturing three gold medals, and also triumphed in the team event.

L Yohenba Singh was the standout performer.

He claimed gold in both the men's compound 50+50m and Olympic round com pound events.

H Alphapati Devi, on the other hand, bagged gold in the women's Olympic round compound event.

In the men's team compound contest, SAIRC secured gold medal courtesy of L Yohenba Singh, Y Rojit Meitei, H Teuton Khuman and Olen Longjam.

Additionally, SAIRC added a silver to their medal tally as H Alphapati Devi finished second in the women's compound 50+50m event, where BAA's Senyai Thongam took gold and UAC's N Roshini Devi bagged bronze.
