NAPSA ease into T-20 cricket tournament quarters

Imphal, March 08 2024: NAPSA (Kha-Imphal) thumped SNC (Sangaiprou) by 173 runs to ease into the quarterfinals of the 1st Khomdram Hijam Mema Devi Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament on Friday.

Gritty knocks by Somoren-dro (93) and Premanda (67) propelled NAPSA to a mammoth 243/5 after the side decided to bat.

The innings also saw valuable contributions from Bhogendro (22), Ratan (20) and Simon (19) .

NAPSA then followed it up with a disciplined bowling performance to stop SNC at 70/7 for their emphatic win enroute to the last eight.

Bhogendro snapped two wickets while Premanda and John got one each in their triumph.

Earlier, Suraj, Yaikhomba and Rajen took one wicket apiece for SNC.

NAPSA's win completes the quarterfinal draw, with MODEL taking on YPHU and CYCLONE facing SHADOW on March 11, 2024, while LCCC play YWC (L) and NAPSA square off against KCC on March 12 .
