Imphal, September 21 2019: Soibam Rebika Devi of Thoubal and Kh Monika Devi of Bishnupur Devi were able to clinch elite women's 48 kg and 51 kg gold medals respectively at the State Level Boxing Championship being organised under the supervision of Manipur Amateur Boxing Association at Boxing Arena, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex.

Soibam Rebika defeated Khangenbam Binita Devi of Bishnupur in the elite women's 48 kg final to win the gold medal while Kh Monika fetched the elite women's 51 kg gold medal by beating S Wanglenthoibi of Thoubal in the final today.

The day also saw H Baskar Singh of MPSC and Kh Sanamacha Singh of Imphal West reach elite men's 63 kg and 69 kg finals respectively.

H Baskar Singh down Imphal East's H Nandakumar in a semi-final bout while Kh Sanamacha Singh got the better of Th Nio Meitei of Churachandpur in a semi-final clash of elite men's 69 kg .

Sub-Junior Girls' bouts
Thangjam Sneha of Imphal East was able to win the sub-junior girls' (2007) 40 kg event gold by beating Ngangom Luxmi Devi of Bishnupur in the final today while M Debina Devi claimed the sub-junior girls' (2007) 43 kg title beating Ch Menaka Devi of Kangpokpi.

E Thoicha Devi of Thoubal claimed the sub-jr girls' (2005-2006) 40 kg title after she downed Esther L Baite of Churachandpur in the final today while sub-jr girls' (2005-2006) 43 kg title went to N Kalpana Devi of Thoubal who defeated L Bishorita Devi of Imphal East in the final today.

Th Apsara of Bishnupur clinched the sub-junior girls' (2005-2006) 43 kg gold after she defeated M Luxmi Devi of Kakching in the final.

S Surmala Devi of Bishnupur defeated Ch Poireileima Chanu of Imphal West in the sub-junior girls' (2005-2006) 49 kg final to win a gold medal before Th Prameshwori Devi of Imphal West claimed the sub-junior girls' (2005-2006) 52 kg event gold medal by thumping N Manda Chanu of Thoubal in the final.

Sub-junior girls' (2005-2006) 55 kg title went to Th Supriya Devi of Bishnupur who outshone Th Neha Devi of Imphal East in the final today.

Junior Women's bouts
T Sophiya Chanu of Bishnupur fetched the Junior Women's (2003-2004) 46 kg title after beating L Christina Devi of Imphal West while Ch Khaleng of Ukhrul bagged the Junior Women's (2003-2004) 48 kg gold by prevailing over Paukhonlu Celina Golmei of Imphal East in the final today.

Junior Women's (2003-2004) 50 kg title was claimed by N Bidyapati of Imphal East as she got the better of K Bandana Chanu of Imphal West in the final and E Thoithoibi Chanu of Kakching laid her hands of the Junior Women's (2003-2004) 52 kg title by beating T Bhumabati Chanu of Bishnupur in the final bout.

Athiphro Genevieve of Senapati defeated Thoibi Devi of Imphal West for the 54 kg gold medal while Sovi Jao earned Ukhrul district a gold medal beating Laishram Roshni Devi of Bishnupur in the 57 kg final today.

Youth Women's (2001-2002)
Thounaojam Eliza Devi of Imphal West outshone Yumnam Babina Devi of Thoubal to claim the Youth Women's (2001-2002) 48 kg event gold medal today before Santhoi Hemam of Imphal West clinched the 52 kg event gold medal by beating Julia Basumatari of Imphal East.

Youth Women's 54 kg gold H Ashalata Devi of Bishnupur who defeated Boichong Hangshing of Kangpokpi while RS Thotyola of Ukhrul won the 57 kg title by beating Yuyeinal D of Senapati in the final bout before Thounaojam Alina Devi of Imphal West down N Surjalata of Thoubal in the 60 kg final to win the gold medal.

Sub Junior Boys-2007
Ch Naoba Singh of Imphal West bagged the 31 kg event gold for sub-junior boys born in the year 2007 after his superb performance against Raj Gupta of Imphal East in the final while A Jackson Singh of Imphal West won the 33 kg gold by beating PS Mashungchui of Ukhrul in the final.

M Jet Singh of Churachandpur (35 kg), M Yaikhomba of Imphal East (37 kg), A Ronaldo Meitei of Bishnupur (40 kg) and Th Nilbir Singh of Imphal West (43 kg) also won gold medals in their respective weight categories of the sub-junior boys' competition.

Sub Junior Boys (2005-2006)
Kh Bidyananda Singh of Imphal West won the sub junior boys (2005-2006) 35 kg gold medal by beating M Hanif of Kakching district in the final today.

T Amarjit Singh of Bishnupur beat Ajabet of Jiribam to claim the 37 kg gold while Bikash Yengkhom, representing Imphal West defeated M Amarjoshi Meitei of Kangpokpi for the 40 kg title.

Gold medal for 43 Kg event went to H Rishi Mangang who beat Ng Jupiter Singh in an all Imphal West final bout.

while Thoubal candidate N Chinglensana overwhelmed P Devajit Singh of Nungba in 46 Kg gold medal bout.

W Lamjingba of Imphal East defeated H Nilakanta Singh of Kangpokpi in 49 Kg final while Th Bishwamitra of Bishnupur beat Imphal West's A Premananda Singh in 52 kg final bout.

Chinglemba Moirangthem of Imphal East clinched 55 kg event gold after defeating Thoubal's L Luhen Meitei while L Radheshyam of Bishnupur outperformed T Nelson Meitei of Thoubal in 58 Kg final to bag the gold.

L Songrengam Kom of Churachandpur defeated Th Luckyboy Singh for the 61 Kg title and Kakching's L Rahul Singh overcame Y Venus Meitei of Imphal West in 64 Kg final.

Bishnupur's L Shymson Meitei (46 Kg); Imphal West's P Jackson Singh (50 Kg); Imphal West's P Kingson Singh (52 Kg); Imphal West's L Edison Singh (54 Kg); Churachandpur's M Cungneirang Kom (57 Kg) and Bishnupur's N Rohit Singh (60 Kg) also earned gold medals in their respective junior men (2003-2004) weight categories.
