Imphal, February 09, 2011: The JAC of Khuga Dam today affected a restructuring within its office bearer with the incumbent Secretary Lalpu Hangshing assuming the charge of Chairman and Lun S Gangte, a KSO representative appointed as the Secretary in-charge.

A statement issued by Lalpu Hangshing said the reshuffle was necessitated following the resignation of its Chairman.

The executive committee was also expanded with the appointment of Thonglen Chongthu, V Thianlal and JL Robert as members.

Reminding that Khuga Multipurpose project is a district issue, the JAC memoramdum said it would take its own course of action to achieve its demand for fulfilment of Khuga dam's component.
