MLA seeks DC's intervention

Imphal, July 01 2009: Phungyar A/C MLA Wungnaoshang Keishing drew attention of Ukhrul DC N Ashokumar that various work programmes taken under SSA 2006-09, like construction of CRC, school buildings and additional class rooms of the constituency were monopolised by the then AIs Stone Keishing and Ningshim Shaiza.

In a letter sent to the DC, the MLA said that the works which were awarded to the concerned agencies are still left incomplete.

Some of the completed works also did not maintain quality as per guidelines of SSA.

The MLA requested the DC to look into the matter and take up necessary action at the earliest.
