Imphal, August 13 2015: The Indian Independence Day and the patriotic fervour have seen the AR reach out to the people throughout Manipur.

In line with this, a joint security meet was held by troops of 12 Bihar based at Mayang Imphal and Tulihal yesterday.

According to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S), the village headmen, community heads, and general public met the officers and troops of 12 Bihar at Tulihal and Mayang Imphal and informed them about the actions being undertaken by Assam Rifles for their security.

The people also informed the troops about their problems and how the positive attitude of Security Forces towards the population has kept their spirits high.
