Imphal, August 02: Raising strong objection to naming the newly proposed MDC constituency as 19-Dolang, the Longjang (Thangal) MDC Circle Demand Committee Demand Committee, Nungba sub-division asserted that by virtue of the Thangal village being the biggest one and its relevance in history, the proposed MDC constituency should be named as Thangal MDC constituency instead of Dolang.

A press release issued by the Committee claimed that it is constituted by five villages out of the seven villages located under the proposed MDC circle.

It asserted that it will leave no stone unturned to meet their genuine demand in case the Delimitation Committee fails to consider the same.
