Imphal, July 15 2010:
Suspecting Japanese Encephalitis as the cause for the death of two children recently at Tupul in Nungba sub-division of Tamenglong district, Deputy Commissioner of the district has sent a message in this regard to the Health Services.
The two children who died from suspected Japanese Encephalitis have been identified as Champou (13) and Baby Pelu (6).They passed away respectively on July 13 and 14 .
More than nine persons in Kasom Khullen in Ukhrul district are also down with symptoms associated with the disease.
