Imphal, October 17 2024: A traditional ritual ceremony, Meitei Phambal Tongba was held today at the shrine of Nongpok Chingu Thong, Langmaiching.

Several people thronged the event and offered fruits and vegetables to the sacred groves of Ibudhou Chingu Lamtaiba which is located at the shrine.

The ritual ceremony is being held to bring peace and prosperity in the State.

As a part of the event, a Thang Ta performance, traditional folk dance and song were also presented, it said.
