Imphal, June 06: While informing shop-owners to register their commercial establishment so as to facilitate issuance of licence, a statement of the Imphal Municipal Council issued by its Chairperson A Jiwanlata Devi conveyed that appointment orders of two toll tax sites and nine parking slots have been annulled.

Asking shop-owners to complete registration procedures within June 30, the IMC cautioned that failure to comply would entail legal action under relevant laws.

With regard to the annulment of the toll tax and parking slots, the statement cautioned all concerned that in case of insistence on parking fees or toll tax collections by unauthorised agents the IMC should not be held responsible.

The annulment order was passed on March 28, 2008, the statement added.
