Senapati, September 27 2026: The Mao Council has strongly condemned the killing of three civilians by armed militants at Kailenjang village, kangpokpi district.

In the attack on September 26, Rocky Osanah of Chowainamei Khullen and Kh Kumar of Laii Shirafii were killed on the spot, and two others Ashiho Sani and Adani Manio were injured.

Ashiho Sani succumbed to bullet injuries on September 27 .

Condemning the attack and the killings, the Mao Council said that the authorities concerned should promptly probe into the matter and bring the perpetrators to justice.

The Mao Council also extended condolences to the bereaved families.

"May the Almighty console the broken families and grant speedy recovery to the injured," said the Mao Council.
