Bank Heist case: Bank staffers quizzed

Imphal, October 17 2024: Police have recorded statements of the staff of United Commercial (UCO) Bank, Kakching branch, from where an armed man robbed Rs 6.49 lakh on Wednesday, along with launching search operation in suspected areas to nab the robber.

A case has been registered at Kakching police station in connection with the bank robbery.

Mention may be made that a Hindi-speaking man with a sidearm and a knife entered the bank on Wednesday and robbed it by holding the bank staff at gunpoint.
