Deceased turns out to be Covid positive

Churachandpur, May 13 2021: One Hauminlian of Muallum village, who died at Churachandpur District Hospital on Thursday, was found to be COVID-19 positive.

This was learnt during an informal interaction with Dr VC Pau, CMO Churachandpur district hospital.

Hauminlian's mother, who died three days ago, had also contracted the infectious disease.

Consequent to this development, RAT tests were conducted on the villagers on Thursday and three of them tested positive for COVID-19 .

The deceased Haumin-lian, according to a source, went to Guwahati last week to purchase a vehicle during which he was believed to have contacted the virus.
