Imphal, February 09, 2011: Two UG activists were apprehended by troops of Assam Rifles yesterday from different places, according to a IGAR (S) statement today.

Troops of 15 and 27 AR apprehended a PULF (MI Khan) activist in an operation at Sora of Thoubal district.

From the arrested Md Julamuddin (41) of Sora Mayai Leikai, the troops recovered a double barrel gun.

An activist of KCP(MC) identified as Hidangmayum Inao Sharma (34) son of late Nilamani of Yairipok Makha Leikai was arrested by 15 AR from Yambem Makha Leikai yesterday around 12.45 am.

The arrested revealed that he is involved in trafficking of Narcotics, drugs and ganja from Manipur to Guwahati for fund raising of outfit.
