Imphal, October 17 2024: With the aim of raising awareness and acknowledge the efforts and struggle of people living in poverty, Assam Rifles organised a lecture and documentary screening at Apou Koding HighSchool, Tamei on Thursday to commemorate International Day for Eradication of Poverty.

The awareness lecture and documentary focused on the importance of commitment to addressing the profound social, economic, and human rights issues that stem from poverty while emphasising the need for collective action to alleviate the suffering of those affected by this global challenge.

A total of 82 students participated in the programme.
