Seminar on skill development

Thoubal, April 05 2018:
Manipur State Co-operative Union under the National Co-operative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi, organised a one day district level seminar on "Role of Co-operatives for the economy and skill development" at Kshetri Shanglen, Thoubal today.
Registrar Co-operative Societies H Rupachandra Singh, president of Manipur State Co-operative Union, Lamphelpat L Tolpishak Singh, vice president MSCU valley Jeena Potshangbam, vice president MSCU hills Jangkhongam Haokip and members of the MSCU Board of Management Shougrakpam Hemanta Singh and L Basanta Sharma attended the event today as presidium members.
Stressing the importance of the co-operatives in the society, president of the MSCU Lamphelpat L Tolpishak urged all the stakeholders- Government and society to co- operate and help grow the co-operatives.
Former Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Society Manipur Kh Tomba Singh, Deputy Director Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills M Pheijao Singh, Project Officer of NCUI Women Education Field Project Imphal B Joyshree Devi spoke at the event as resource persons.
