Street vendors appeal

Imphal, February 06, 2011:
The Khwairamband Keithel Street Vendor Coordinating Committee appealed to the concerned authority to arrest those persons who are trying to dupe innocent street vendors with false promises of providing seats in the temporary market shed.
In a press release, the committee stated it had received reports about some persons who asked street vendors for Rs.4000 and four passport sized photographs promising them to provide seats in the temporary shed.
