MNBCA's silver jubilee celebration ends

The silver jubilee celebration of the Monsang Naga Baptist Church Association (MNBCA) which commenced on February 4 at Khoriibung Mission Centre, Japhou in Chandel district concluded today.
The silver jubilee which was celebrated under the theme �Marching with Christ� was organized to commemorate the 25 years of existence of the association.
Rev Dr AK Lama, general secretary, CBCNE and Johnson Joel Scott from the USA were the main speakers who shared the message of the Gospel and the challenging tasks for MNBCA in its God's mission work.
A souvenir was released by Ng Roland, the first executive president of MNBCA.
Rev K Kumar, the first executive president of the MNBCA unveiled the jubilee monument erected to commemorate the event.
Rev Alani Shongsir, Mission Secretary, MBC and Rev Longam Chara greeted the gathering.
Retired ZEO, Chandel E Khartu, Sh Betin, former president MNBCA and SDC, Chandel, W Rebecca were praised for their support of the MNBCA.
Sharing and preaching the Gospel, the Gospel choreography, and group song competitions were the main highlights of the celebration.
In the history of the Monsang, the first Christian converts were baptized on February 11, 1925.Among the Monsang villages, Liwachangning became the first Christian village.
