One Day Mock Drill held at Thoubal

Thoubal, January 24 2019: One Day Mock Drill was held at Thoubal Kshetri leikai on 23rd January 2018 at Thoubal Kshetri leikai Haotabi Ground.

The programme was organised by Council for Advancement of Rural Development, CARD Thoubal Kshetri leikai, Kshetri leikai Rising Club and Indian Red Cross Society Thoubal Branch.

Shri K. Sadananda Singh President IRCS Thoubal Branch, Shri I.Achou Singh, President CARD and Shri W.Ibohal Singh Secy, CARD were the dignitaries on the dais in the inaugural session.

Shri W.Ibohal Singh explained about the objectives of organising the programme.

Dr Bangkim Singh Coordinator IRCS State Manipur and other experts from IRCS explained about various life saving techniques during calamities with live demonstration.

Mock Drill to prevent from natural calamities like earthquake, flood, drought and also day to day accident and also.

Demonstration and lecture about the technique of preventive measure were taught to the participants.

As a part of mock drill there was also live demo on proper way of hand washing by the expert team and also explained on the importance of keeping our hand neat and clean.

60 youth of Kshetri leikai and its surrounding villages benefited from the training programme.
