Insects found in milk powder packet

The Maggi food scare in India seems to have left a permanent dent in the faith of Indian consumers as more complaints have flooded in claiming defects in other popular products.
A packet of Amulspray milk powder (batch no.SBR025) was allegedly found with insects at Jiribam by one L Jaminikanta Singh, Assistant Teacher at Jiri College, Kadamtala.
According to Jaminikanta, he bought a 200gm Amulspray milk powder packet from a grocery shop at Kalinagar, Jiribam for his children.
On opening the packet, he alleged that live insects were found inside the product.
Jaminikanta returned the product to the shopkeeper the very day following which the shopkeeper had assured that the product would be sent to the company for testing.
Amulspray is a product of Amul based at Anand, Gujarat.
