The Government is planning to distribute 72 Kls of SK Oil to the sub-dealers through Deputy Commissioners within the current month but the Government would be helpless if the IOC does not bring in kerosene, stated Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Y Erabot during question hour of the State Assembly session today.

A total of 10,444 Kls of kerosene allocated to the State till October has not been received by the department as the IOC is unable to ferry the SK Oil.
However, time period for SK Oil quotas which have lapsed has been extended, the CAF&PD Minister informed the House.
