Imphal, December 23 2010:
Guardians of the students of S Kumar Institute of Nursing has raised a strong suspicion about the possibility of the institute's managing director Yumnam Surjitkumar being concealed by his family.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, students of the institute and their parents said their career is in serious jeopardy following sudden disappearance of the institute's proprietor Yumnam Surjitkumar.
Even as the students have complained about the uncertain future hanging over the institute to the institute's founders Yumnam Ingba and Yumnamcha Dilipkumar, the duo have been paying no heed.
Consequent upon media reports that Surjitkumar (also known as S Kumar) has been abducted by unidentified armed persons, students of the institute and their guardians enquired about the media report to Surjitkumar's family.
The family members told them that Surjitkumar was abducted by unidentified persons in the intervening night of December 20 and 21 .
However, the duped students and their parents found it hard to believe the story of Surjitkumar's abduction.
Rather, they have been suspecting that Surjitkumar has been concealed by his own family.
Nevertheless, they appealed to all groups to locate Surjitkumar and help in redeeming their academic career which is in serious jeopardy.
They also appealed to explain through media if any group have abducted Surjitkumar.
