Imphal, December 23 2010:
Though the allocation order for SK oil in respect of Imphal for the month of November and December had been issued, agents have complained against the alleged biases of the District Supply Officer (DSO) in the allocation of SK oil.
Talking to The Sangai Express, some of the disgruntled SK oil agents of Imphal West district, asserted that the DSO has allotted quantity of SK oil to agents in remote areas.
They informed that there are around five SK oil agents in the heart of Imphal itself.
But these agents have not been provided adequate SK oil when as much as 72 KL of SK oil have been allocated to agents from places like Sekmai and Wabagai.
In accordance to the allocation order issued by the Government, the indents of the agents in Imphal West too have to be given by the Deputy Commissioner to the IOC and the IOC in turn have to issue SK oil to the agents.
However, indents have not been provided to the agents of Imphal West, they complained.
