Imphal, May 02 2024: Assam Rifles organised a pre-medical examination on April 29, at the Assam Rifles camp at Veng village in Churachandpur district, for candidates who successfully passed the Ag-niveer SSC (GD) Prelim Online Exam-2024 .

A release by PRO IGAR (S) informed that the medical examination Was aimed at assessing physical condition of the candidates and prepare them for the forthcoming physical and medical tests of the recruitment process.

It encompassed 14 tests, including physical examinations, dental check-ups and eyesight assessments.

Prior to the examination, Assam Rifles conducted a four-week training programme in December for the aspirants from remote villages and internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Churachandpur district to prepare them for the online exam.

Assam Rifles is also conducting a four week physical training programme for the selected candidates starting from the first week of May 2024, added the PRO.
