State Govt fixes prices of 17 items

Imphal, April 24 2021: The State Government has fixed prices of 17 items under Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.The newly fixed prices will take effect immediately until further orders in respect of Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Kakching district, said an order of the Government today.

The 17 items and their prices are as follows;
Matar (Mangal) - wholesale Rs 7,500 (100kg) - Retail Rs 75 per kg
Matar dal (Kangtak) - wholesale Rs 7,500(100kg) - Retail Rs 80 per kg
Potato - wholesale Rs 2,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 30 per kg
Onion - wholesale Rs 2,800 (100kg) - Retail Rs 35 per kg
Salt - wholesale Rs 620 (50kg) - Retail MRP
Sugar - wholesale Rs 4,350 (100kg) - Retail Rs 47 per kg
Masur dal (Mussorie) small - wholesale Rs 10,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 110 per kg
Masur dal (Mussorie) medium - wholesale Rs 9,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 100 per kg
Masur dal (Mussorie) big - wholesale Rs 8,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 90 per kg
Atta - wholesale Rs 1,300 (45kg) - Retail Rs 35 per kg
Maida - wholesale Rs 1,350 (45kg) - Retail Rs 36 per kg
Mustard Oil Tagore (Tin) - wholesale Rs 2,500 (15 litres) - Retail Rs 2,500per 15 litres
Palm Oil - wholesale Rs 2,250 (15 Litres) - Retail Rs 2,250 per 15 litres
Refined Oil - wholesale Rs 2,400 (15 litres) - Retail Rs 2,400 per 15 litres
Arhar Dal (Mairongbi) small - wholesale Rs 9,500 (100kg) - Retail Rs 100 per kg
Arhar Dal (Mairongbi) big - wholesale Rs 12,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 110 per kg
Mung Dal - wholesale Rs 12,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 130 per kg
Kala Dal (Sagol hawai) Big Indor - wholesale Rs 12,500 (100kg) - Retail Rs 130 per kg
Kala Dal (Sagol hawai) Small Kanpur - wholesale Rs 11,000 (100kg) - Retail Rs 115 per kg
Rice Permal - wholesale Rs 4,300 (100kg) - Retail Rs 47 per kg
UP Rice - wholesale Rs 4,100 (100kg) - Retail Rs 44 per kg .

* The retail rates of the above items in respect of Churachandpur and Pherzawl district will be Re 1 above the fixed rates.

The Government order also directed all shops and establishments dealing in wholesale and retail sale of essential commodities to display the rates given above at prominent/permanent places.
