MPA celebrates 24th birthday

Imphal, February 09, 2011: Manipur People's Army (MPA), the armed wing of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) celebrated its 24th foundation day at different parts including the GHQ of MPA, units, Bn Hqs, Tact Hqs, etc along with the people of the respective areas.

According to a statement issued by senior publicity officer of the outfit Ksh Yoiheiba, the celebration was also held at the CHQ of UNLF.

The celebration was led by ACM and GS of the outfit and attended by officers of RPF/PLA, Red Army-PREPAK and other cadres of UNLF and MPA.

The main highlight of the celebration was offering floral tributes to the 'Athoubas' who have sacrificed their lives in the cause of liberation movement, reading out the messages of UNLF Military Affairs Committee, Acting Chairman and COAS of MPA to the people and discussion on the progress of liberation struggle.
