Orientation / Sensitisation programme held

An Orientation cum Sensitisation Programme pertaining to exam stress of students was organised at the seminar hall of Royal Academy of Law, Oinam on Thursday.
The programme held with the aim to help the students embrace exams as a celebration was organised by National Commission for Protection Child Rights (NCPCR) in collaboration with Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR).
The first session was attended by Academy principal Eliza Maisnam, SDO/BDO Nambol Tongbram Shyamkumar Singh, Academy's governing body secretary I Jugeshwor Singh, MCPCR chairperson Keisham Pradipkumar Singh, and students of different schools at Nambol and Oinam.
Social Welfare and MCPCR former chairperson S Sharatkumar Sharma delivered speech on 'Exams are like festival celebrations' while Thounaijam Bonbihari spoke on 'Exams test your current preparation, not you'.
In his address, SDO Shyam-kumar said that education is an unending process and encouraged the students to study regularly while MCPCR chairperson Pradipkumar advised the students to study and hone their potentials early in order to prevent stress during exams.
The programme was launched by PM Narendra Modi with the objective of helping students overcome exam stress, he mentioned.
