Devis slams ton as SHADOW win by 110 runs via DLS in rain hit match

SHADOW posted a huge 110-run victory over YESSDAN, Ningthoukhong via DLS in a rain-curtailed Group A match of the 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.
Devis Khunjamayum shone with a masterful knock of 152 off 81 deliveries studded with 17 fours and 8 sixes to help SHADOW post a massive total of 279 runs for four wickets in 26 overs.
YESSDAN, who elected to field first, however had a tough innings and were reduced to 71/4 in 17 overs with Chinglemba Haobam (2/8) and Leevasky Thongbam (2/18) sharing four wickets among them before rain hit the match and the target was revised to 182 in 17 overs via DLS method.

Eventually, SHADOW was declared the winners by 110 runs.
Elsewhere at PTRC ground in Patsoi Part-IV, PTCC, Patsoi Part-III pulled off their third Group B win in five matches by thrashing YPHUC by 8 wickets.
YPHUC, who won the toss and opted to bat first, were bundled out for 67 runs within 15.5 overs as Lanngamba Ningombam (4/16 in 4 overs), Devas Tongbram (3/13 in 2.5 overs) and Somobanta (2/9 in 4 overs) wreaked havoc before PTCC eased to the winning 70/2 in 8 overs.
Yaioiba Ningomba topscored with 11 for YPHUC in their forgetbal innings before Ningombam Robarson 27 not out and Somobanta 21 set up the chase for PTCC.
The Group C match between KCC, Kongba Bazar and SSC, Porompat at Kongba Khunou was abandoned due to unplayable condition of the ground forcing the two teams to share a point apiece.
Elsewhere at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, TRAU, Kwakeithel had a 35 run victory via DLS against SU, Sagolband after rain interrupted the match.
In the match that was reduced to 20 overs an innings, SU posted a lowly total of 93/8 as Preethson Arubam (4/18) and Potsangbam Jeet (2/23) produced fine bowling performances for TRAU.
Chasing 94 for the win, TRAU were 60/1 after 8 overs when rain hit the match.
The target was eventually revised to 26 runs in 8 overs and thus TRAU were declared winners by 35 runs via DLS method.
RK Philan 24 and Keisham Yaikhomba 18 were the leading run getters for SU who were put in to bat first while Mutum Swabhiman led the scoring for TRAU with an unbeaten 34-ball 32 .
