Noney, July 15 2022: Town Churches Union (TCU) Tamenglong organised a felicitation programme for Water Resources and Relief & Disaster Management minister Awangbow Newmai, who is also Tamei MLA, and Tamenglong MLA Janghemlung Panmei at United Baptist Church on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, minister Awangbow affirmed that he would not betray his identity wherever he goes and serve the people through God.

He added that one's identity is defining who you are to others and how others define you.

He also conveyed that bringing development is not only the duty of a leader but changing the attitude and concept of people is also a part of leader's duty.

The programme was attended by ADC Tamenglong caretaker chairman Namsinrei Panmei, TCU president Rev G Chingliang, TCU vice president Rev Chingkhiupou Riamei, other pastors and youth.
