10 from State in Indian contingent for Asian Judo Championships

Imphal, July 15 2022:
As many as 10 State natives including 8 players and 2 coaches are in the Indian contingent for the Asian Judo Championships 2022 for Cadets and Junior to be held from July 17 to 21 in Bangkok.
As per a release from Manipur Judo Association, three cadet players, five junior players and 2 two coaches will be representing India at the same continental event.

The players in the Indian contingent are -
Cadets : Laishram Monalisa (-48 kg girls), Linthoi Chanambam (-63 kg girls) and Ningthoujam Sheetal (-81 kg boys) and
Juniors : Huidrom Matouleibi Devi (-52 kg girls), Leishangthem Nungshithoi (-57 kg girls), Laishram Sanathoi Devi (-70 kg girls), Laishram Roshni Devi (-78 kg girls) and Max Laishram (-73 kg boys) .
Meanwhile, Angom Surjit and Oinam Rasheshwori Chanu will lead as boys and girls' coaches respectively.
They have left India for the event venue today, the release said.
