TBA Assam sends relief materials for IDPs

Thadou Baptist Association (TBA) of Assam sent a bulky "Phalbi Gifts" for Kuki-Zo Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kangpokpi district.
The TBA's winter gift was handed over to the IDPs through Thadou Students' Association, Sadar Hills at Mandap Relief Centre, Gamnom Saparmeina in Kangpokpi district on Sunday.
The relief materials include blankets and eatables for children.
Executive secretary, Pao-chon Hangshing in his message, stated that TBA Assam stands in solidarity with all the people of Kuki-Zo people who are displaced owing to the ongoing conflicts and prays for them.
The message also exhorted the IDPs and prayed that the love and strength of the Almighty always prevail among them.
TSA Sadar Hills president Paominlun Lhouvum said that the students' body has been relentlessly working for the welfare of the IDPs with special focus on education and skill development.
He said that under TSA Sadar Hills' "Themjil Khohsah Ute" project, it embarked on an endeavour to help the displaced children in their education and added that those youth interested in skill development can avail TSA Sadar Hills Skill Card for skill development related activities.
