UNLF asks ousted 12 to return

The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) led by Pambei has asked all the 12 persons expelled due to an internal matter of the outfit in 2020 to return within two days.
According to a statement issued by media coordinator Th Charairongba of the Pambei-led UNLF, a group of party members who opposed removal of former Central Committee member Th Yaimachou (Priyo) for repeatedly violating party's constitution were expelled permanently from the outfit.
The group led by Th Tarun-kumar (Tiken, George) continue to indulge in activities since the past three years which could tarnish image of the party.
Some of them, however, returned after acknowledging their mistakes and even started performing party's activities, the statement said and informed all the remaining members of the group to communicate within two days.
Apart from appealing individuals working with the Tarunkumar-led group and organisations to suspend any link with the group, the UNLF warned of keeping strict vigil against the group by considering them as anti-party and anti-people.
The remaining members of the group are Thounaojam Tarunkumar alias Tiken alias George of Keishampat, Rajkumar Koireng alias Lakhikanta of Soibam Leikai, Narengbam Thabal alias Marjit of Nagamapal, Kshetrimayum Sagar alias Chinglen alias Yoiheiba of Kshetri Leikai, Moirangthem Iboyaima alias Jayenta alias James of Wangkhei, Yanglem Tiken alias Nobin alias Abo of Luwangsangbam, Moirangthem Devan alias Munal alias NC of Keibi Taretkhul, Karam Puyaning alias Meghachandra of Chingmeirong, Moirangthem Sakhen alias Ranjit of Phubala Ward No 3, Maimom Chaoba alias Janeshore of Pangaltabi, Toijam Achouba alias Bhogen of Wangkhei Ayangpalli and Leishangthem Umakanta alias Yoiheiba of Singjamei, the statement said.
