AR felicitates Agniveer candidates

Imphal, October 17 2024: In a major achievement for Tamenglong denizens, six youths who underwent training under Assam Rifles have been selected in the latest recruitment in the Indian Army.

Tamenglong Battalion Assam Rifles felicitated the selected Agniveer candidates at Tamenglong town on Thursday.

The rigorous pre-recruitment training conducted by AR had participation of 31 youth, out of whom 16 passed the written tests, and the six finally selected for training as Agniveer in Indian Army.

While felicitating the soldiers-to-be, the battalion commandant conveyed best wishes and encouraged the selected candidates to be role models for the young generation and defence service aspirants.

He also encouraged other youths to keep working hard and aim for selection in the upcoming recruitment rallies.
