Kamla requested the Governor to'trace and rescue her husband as he was the sole, breadwinner of the family, including partially blind father-in-law, bedridden mother-in-law, besides their four years old daughter.
The Governor assured that no stone will be left unturned in locating Apamba and further assured for providing financial and other assistances from her as well as chief minister's side to the family of the missing person.
Mentioning that Apamba is suffering from mental disorder, it urged all concerned not to harm him and send back to his family at the earliest.
The committee further urged to investigate as to how the individual crossed the security barrier of red zone area in Shantipur (Sekmai) jointly manned by Assam Rifles, CRPF and state police forces and appealed to ensure that no such lapses occur in the future.
Lastly, the committee also questioned "is the domain & control/authority of governance of Manipur confined within the Imphal valley only from Shantipur in the North to Kwakta in the South and from Keithelmanbi in the West to Pallel in the East as the people in the valley cannot venture out beyond these limits" .
If so, what measures are being initiated by the state government to overcome these limitations? it posed.
