KMC office counter inaugurated

Kakching, October 17 2024: The newly-opened office counter of Kakching Municipal Council (KMC) at Kakching Keithel was inaugurated by KMC caretaker chairperson Naorem Sanjitkumar on Thursday in the presence of KMC caretaker councillors, senior chief executive officer L Romesh, staff, sanitary workers, and representatives of Kaching Keithel Apunba Ima Lup and Kakching Bazar Business Welfare Association.

In his address, N Sanjitkumar expressed hope that the counter will help address inconveniences faced by vendors and shopkeepers paying their rents/taxes at the KMC office, and for municipality related works.

He also commended caretaker councillors, staffers and Keithel Lup and Bazar Welfare Association for extending their support in setting up the office counfer.

Sanjitkumar further appealed all to support Council's solid waste management programme under Swacch Bharat Mission by disposing their garbage at designated areas.
