Workshop on 'Nityai Dhumel' concludes

Thoubal, October 17 2024: The 30-day workshop cum production on 'Nityai Dhumel' conducted by Academy for Cultural Resources and Training (ACRT), Nepra Company Makha Leikai, concluded on Thursday.

The valedictory programme was attended by Thoubal District Congress Committee secretary Yumnam Basanta as chief guest and Sangeet Kala Bhavan, Heirok president Mayengbam Iboyaima as president, while Nat Sankritan Sangha, Tekcham guru Soibam Bokul and 'Pung' guru Ningthoujam Angang were guests of honour.

As part of the event, a production on Nityai Dhumel was performed.

The programme was conducted under the Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme of the Union Ministry of Culture.
