Consultation on 'Clean Senapati' held

Senapati, May 02 2024: A 'One-day Consultation on 'Clean Senapati cum Football Match' was organised by Senapati District Baptist Association's Fellowship (SDBAF) and Senapati Karong Area Baptist Union (SKABU) at MRNBA conference hall, here.

A one-hour consultation on 'Clean Senapati' was held prior to commencement of the programme.

Rev Dr P James, convenor SDBAF, presented the concept on 'Clean Senapati' .

Then, an adoption of resolutions was led by Rev H Kaba Maram, executive secretary MRNBA.

As per the resolutions, SDBAF and SKABU expressed their heartfelt gratitude to MRNBA and Taphou Naga Baptist Church for hosting the 'One-day Consultation on Clean Senapati cum Football Match' .

The members felt that the issue addressed in the consultation was such a burning issue that the church needed to intervene.

The members agreed that the SKABU churches together with SDBAF would make a strategic plan and proactively involve in 'Clean Senapati' drive.

It was agreed that such consultation may be organised on a larger scale if the situation warrants.

The adoption of resolutions was signed by Rev H Kaba Maram, executive secretary MRNBA, Rev Cheijinba Rakhangmi, executive secretary TNBA, Rev Dr P James, executive secretary PNBA, Rev A Pfokrelo, executive secretary MBCA, Rev K Daniel, chairman SKABU, and Rev RS Abraham, secretary SKABU.

Later, a friendly football match was played at Astro Turf Ground, Senapati.
