Conflict caused by illegal Kuki-Zou militants: RK Meghen

The 45th foundation day of Kwasiphai Youth Volunteer Organisation (KYVO) was celebrated under the theme 'Prevailing Manipur Crisis and Its Possible Solution' at Kwasiphai Ibudhou Pakhangba community hall on Thursday.
The programme was attended by Nachou Gram Panchayat member Th Dilip Meitei as chief guest and KYVO president M Dhaneshwor Meitei as president, while Khoijuman Kwasiphai GP caretaker pradhan Th Ahanbi Devi, social activist RK Meghen Singh, retired IPS & International Bar Association, London member S Manaobi Singh, Sanaleibak editor Hemantakumar Ningomba, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Bishnupur deputy director Dr Salam Dhana Singh and Mother s Pride Academy, Kwasiphai co-founders K Debendra Singh & Kh Basanta Meitei were present as guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, RK Meghen contended that the present conflict has been caused by Kuki-Zou militants who entered Manipur illegally from Myanmar.
He also exhorted Meetei to unitedly face the conflict, while demanding the Government of India to flush out illegal Kuki-Zou militants.
As part of the function, three sportspersons and three students from Kwasiphai, who won medals at national & international tournaments and passed out class X-XII exams with flying colours, were felicitated.
