Swachhta Pakhwada observance concludes

The observance of Swachhta Pakhwada 2024 organised by Regional In stitute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal from April 1 concluded on Monday with the closing ceremony held at RIMS general OPD complex.
The valedictory ceremony was attended by RIMS director Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma, medical superintendent Prof N Sanjib Singh, director (administration) RK Mecolt Singh, CAO/FA Sairem Sarat Singh and Kaya Kalp/SAP RIMS nodal officer Prof Y Govindaraj Singh.
Speaking at the event, Prof G Sunil commended all particularly the staff of CRED and MSS, RIMS for their pro-active involvement jn keeping the RIMS environment and premises clean.
Informing that RIMS is among the top 23 cleanest government hospitals in the country, he called for banning use of half litre water bottles, small plastic bottles of soft drinks, juices and small tea cup inside RIMS campus.
The director also shared his dream of making "RIMS a Plastic free zone campus" and urged all the staffers to contribute their mite in making RIMS the cleanest hospital.
Cash prize and certificates were also distributed to the staff of CRED, MSS, and other staff of the hospital for their hard work and contribution during the observance of Swachhta Pakhwada.
The closing function was also attended by RIMS Dental College principal, College of Nursing principal, chief nursing officials, faculty members and staff of RIMS.
