Placement Link Development Training Programme ends

The one-month long Placement Link Skill Development Training Programme organized jointly by Rural Social Service Society (RSSS), Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal and Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) under the sponsorship of Centre for Practical Livelihood Training, NEDFI Guwahati at the conference hall of ICM concluded today.
The valedictory function was graced by I Hemochandra, Minister of PHED and Labor & Employment as chief guest; S Herojit Singh, Director In-Charge of ICM as president; E Tomba, Deputy Labor Commissioner and G Priyobarta Sharma, branch manager of NEDFI Imphal as guests of honor.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Hemochandra stated that many people of the State sought easy money making methods which is an indication of laziness, while adding that self-employment by putting hard work is respectable than white color job including those of government.
Pointing out that mass entry of non-local laborers inside the State and subsequently engaging themselves in suitable jobs are due to lack of work culture amongst the people of the State, the Minister asserted that people of the State are blessed with enough skills to do any works that outsiders can do.
Sincerity, hard work and right approach are much necessary to make any venture successful, he added.
