Sky Hospital achieves milestone

Imphal, November 17 2014:
In what could be considered a milestone in medical history, Sky Hospital, Imphal sucessfully operated a two-month old suffering from Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.
The second son of Yumnam Indrajit (39) and Yumnam (O) Fahar (28), the infant was born with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.
He was examined at various hospitals when he started refusing food and developing fever.
Doctors, however, mistook the symtoms for a minor cold.

When the infant was admitted at Sky Hospital, his pulse rate per minute was close to 291.A team led by Dr Shyamkishor, Chairman, Sky Hospital, through utmost care and dedication, was able to succesfully operate and cure the symptom.
Speaking to mediapersons, Dr Shyamkishor informed that adults can also develop Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.
The doctor advised people with unsual pulse rate to immediately consult a doctor.
The infant, after the operation recorded a normal heart rate of 93 per minute.
He was discharged from the hospital today.
