Imphal, November 16 2010:
With the exception of OBC candidates, grade IV employees and 39 dental surgeons recommended by Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC), all others would be given offer forms.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, Health and Family Welfare Minister Pheiroijam Parijat said that out of the recommended 329 candidates for medical officers and 39 dental surgeons, all the candidates belonging to general, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories would be given offer forms.
As for OBC candidates, there are complaints about many of them holding OBC certificates incompatible with the families' annual incomes.
These cases would be referred to the respective Deputy Commissioners for verification.
If the OBC candidates are found to be genuine after verification, they would be given offer forms.
Those in possession of OBC certificates incompatible to their families' annual incomes would be rejected, Parijat stated.
For genuine OBC candidates recommended by MPSC, they would be given offer forms as soon as the DC's submit their verification reports.
On the other hand, a notification issued today by the Health and Family Welfare Deputy Secretary has intimated MPSC recommended medical officers and dental surgeons to collect their offer forms in person from the Directorate of Health Services.
The offer forms should be filled up and submitted to the Directorate on or before November 27 otherwise the appointment order would stand cancelled, mentioned the notification.
