Imphal, November 16 2010:
The chief guest, Education Minister L Jayentakumar could not make it due to some unexpected last minute schedule with the Chief Minister, but it was more than made up by the guests of honour, MLA I Hemochandra and Dr Dhaballi, the man and mind behind Babina Diagnostic Centre and Hotel Classic, the hottest spot in town now.
If the two guests of honour set the tempo running, the students of Maria Montessori Higher Secondary School were not found wanting in any discipline.
The occasion was the foundation day of the school, 25 years back, and the days of preparation, the practise sessions, the rush to meet the deadline all came to fruition today in the midst of the Silver Jubilee celebration of the school.

The huge ovation and pleasant surprise of the students, who had become Marians by 2007 was unmistable.
