ADC Sadar Hills felicitates JSYC

Kangpokpi, March 16 2018: The Jamsat Songtun Youth Club (JSYC) Sadar Hills (champion of Hill Districts Premiere League 2016) was felicitated by District Council Administration, Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi today.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing, Vice Chairman Thangjakam Misao, Executive Member Lunthang Haokip and Lamkholen Kipgen, Chief Executive Officer, T Manihar Singh, MCS, Kuki Inpi Kangpokpi District President Seikhomang Khongsai, KTC Chairman Chonkam Kipgen, members of GUDUP and other CSOs leaders apart from Council staff and employees.

Pastor J Lunkim, Chairman Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship and licensed Pastor Boipu G Momin also attended the felicitation ceremony while they performed the thanksgiving and blessing prayer for the players of JSYC.

Thangjakam Misao, Vice Chairman ADC Sadar Hills highlighted the District Council Administration and regretted for the late felicitation ceremony owing to various circumstances.

ADC Sadar Hills Chairman, Haokholal Hangshing in his motivational speech appreciated the JSYC Sadar Hills in bringing fame and laurel through football in the district by achieving the Champion title of Hill District Premiere League twice.

While motivating the players of JSYC Sadar Hills, Haokholal Hangshing also encourages them to do well in the upcoming Hill Districts Sports Meet, 2018 schedule to be held at Senapati District HQs from March 20 and retained the Champion trophy once and for all.

The Hill Districts Sports Meet could not be organized in 2017 owing to general election in the State and if JSYC could retain the Champion trophy this time, the rolling trophy will remain with them.

The Chairman also stated that District Council Administration, SHADC Kangpokpi will ensure all possible help and assistance to JSYC in the upcoming Hill Districts Sports Meet, 2018 before handing over the champion trophy to the JSYC Manager to submit to the organizing committee of Hill Districts Sports Meet, 2018 .

The JSYC Sadar Hills Management Committee also expressed gratitude to the District Council Administration, SHADC Kangpokpi, CSOs Kangpokpi District and presented them a traditional Shawl as a token of gratitude and love.
