New office of Manipur Rural Bank Kakching Branch inaugurated

Kakching, May 02 2024: The new office of Manipur Rural Bank Kakching Branch was inaugurated today at Kakching Khunyai Leikai Pakhanglakpam Pareng.

The inaugural programme was graced by Manipur Pollution Control Board Chairman and Wabagai AC MLA Dr Usham Deben; Manipur Rural Bank Chairman Abhay Kumar and Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) Kakching Block, District Mission Manager Taorem James as the presidium members.

Speaking at the occasion, Manipur Rural Bank Kakching, Branch Manager Phairenbam Amarkanta stated that Manipur Rural Bank has been providing financial services to the people efficiently in various sectors for more than 40 years.

The bank is a joint undertaking of the Central Government with 50 percent share, State Government with 15 percent share and with 35 percent share of sponsored bank Punjab National Bank, he said.

Highlighting that Manipur Rural Bank is recognized as a scheduled bank under Reserve Bank of India Act, he appealed to all not to fall prey to hearsay and trust the bank for all their financial services.

The development of the bank will prove beneficial for all especially for the rural population, he added.
