Thoubal, October 17 2024: The 30-day workshop cum production of Nityai Dhumel came to a close today at Nepra Company Makha Leikai Community Hall.

The workshop was organised by The Academy for Cultural Resources, Nepra Company Makha Leikai and Training (ACRT), Thoubal under the Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme (CFPGS), Ministry of Culture, Government of Manipur.

The closing function was attended by Yumnam Basanta, secretary, District Congress Committee; Mayengbam Iboyaima, president, Sangeet Kala Bhavan, Heirok; Soibam Bokul, Guru, Nat Sankirtan Sangha.

Tekcham and noted Pung Guru Ningthoujam Angang as the presidium members.

As a part of the function, floral tributes were offered on the portrait of ACRT's founder president.

The gathering also observed a 1-minute silence offering prayers for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Later, a production of Nityai Dhumel was showcased before the gathering.

Many noted Nat Sankirtan artists also participated in the closing function.
