More condemnation poured in over student killing

All India Students' Federation (AISF), Manipur State Council has condemned the indifferent attitude of the State Government towards the demand for introduction of Inner Line Permit in the State.
The students' body also claimed that the public movement for ILP started a long time back had the Government listened and acted in time, the precious life of Robinhood would have not lost.
The students' organisation also questioned if ILP is against the Indian Constitution, how is it that other States are implementing the Act.
It also questioned as to why the State Government is against a people-friendly ILP system.
AISF MSC also suggested the State Government to come up with a proper ILP system for the welfare of the State.
Communists Party of India has strongly reacted to the killing of a student who was participating in the public agitation for implementation of ILP.
The political party also reminded that a chief minister of Kerala resigned following death of a student in police custody.
It also questioned as to why the bill on ILP is not brought up in the assembly to re-discuss while other bills like Cultural University were re-discussed and passed.
SUC: Students' Union Club, Kontha Khabam, the Eastern Educational Club and Langthabal Kunja Youth Progressive Organisation have also condemned the killing of student Sapam Robinson and shared the sorrow of the family.The organization also wished all students who were injured in the incident speedy recovery.
Human Rights Defender Manipur: Human Rights Defender Manipur has demanded a judicial enquiry into the death of Sapam Robinhood and give befitting punishment to the involved police personnel.
It also appealed to the Government to provide a space for erecting a memorial stone in the name of Sapam Robinhood who has been named as 'guiding light to the ILP movement in Manipur.'
Meanwhile, Ereipak Enaat Chanura Loinsinlon Eechal, India Sports Sangh, Manipur Pradesh, All India Youth Federation, Pangal Students' Organisation, Manipur, All Manipur Muslim Development Organisation, Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup, All Manipur Nupi Marup also condemned the atrocities of the police and killing of a student and injuring many students who were protesting against the indifferent attitude of the State Government towards ILP implementation in Manipur for safeguarding the indigenous.
They also demanded to do away the Manipur Regulation of the Visitors, Tenants and Migrant Workers Bill, 2015 which allegedly supports the outsiders instead of the native indigenous people in the State.
Khundrakpam Kendra Youths Organization (KHUKYO) has also strongly condemned the killing of student by the State Police on Wednesday and declared that non-locals in Khundrakpam area will be checked to extend support to the JCIPLS movement.
