PREPAK observes Athoubasinggi Numit

Imphal, November 12 2023: Together with both hill people and valley people, the proscribed PREPAK obser-ved Athoubasinggi Ningsing Numit 2023 in different districts of Kangleipak today, according to a press release issued by the outfit's department of publicity and propaganda, publicity officer Mangal.

Offering of floral tributes at the memorial tombs of all those martyrs who had laid down their lives in the course of the liberation movement and lighting lamps at residential gates in the evening were the main highlights of the observation, it said.

Athoubasinggi Ningsing Numit was observed at the party's central headquarters, Red Army's 701 Mobile battalion, 707 Battalion, tactical headquarters, base areas, transit camps and training centres.

The party's flag was flown at half-mast and revolutionary gun salute was given to all the martyrs, it conveyed.

Paying rich tributes to all the martyrs who had sacrificed their lives in the course of the liberation movement, the outfit pledged that it would carry on the liberation movement until the objectives and goals set by the martyrs are achieved.
