Imphal, August 02: The GOC 3 Corps Lt Gen RK Loomba accompanied by IGAR (S) Maj AK Choudhary visited 9, 10 and 26 Sector Assam Rifles headquarters on the last leg of his two day visit today.

According to a release the Corps Commander was briefed by Sector commanders consequently evoking note of appreciation from the former on the efforts of formation/units as well as commendable performance of the troops in military operations.

At Mantripukhri, Maj Gen AK Choudhary briefed the Corps Commander about the prevailing security and 'I.S' situation with specific reference on recent happenings in the State.

Moreover, the GOC is informed to have had interaction sessions with representatives of social organisations, civilians and officials, while Mrs Anita Loomba, who arrived yesterday with the GOC, interacted with the ladies at HQs IGAR (S).
